These terms explain the use of the Solar System website, solar planning tools, quotation enquiries and Academy services. A written quotation, project agreement or programme-specific terms may contain additional conditions for a particular service.
1. Website information
Website descriptions provide general information about solar systems and technical training. Availability, equipment specifications, programme dates and fees may change. Confirm the current details with our team before making a commitment.
2. Solar planner and estimates
The solar planner provides a guide based on the loads, daily use and backup hours entered, together with the configured sizing assumptions and equipment prices. Results are not a final engineering design, a guaranteed performance outcome or a binding quotation.
A qualified assessment must confirm site conditions, roof and mounting suitability, surge loads, wiring, equipment compatibility and the final scope. Provide accurate information and consult the team before purchasing equipment or arranging installation.
3. Quotations and project work
Sending an enquiry does not create an installation contract or reserve equipment. A formal proposal should identify the agreed scope, selected components, price, payment schedule, validity period, delivery conditions and any exclusions.
Installation dates, warranties, maintenance responsibilities and changes to scope are governed by the agreed project documents and applicable law. Obtain written clarification of any requirement before accepting a proposal.
4. Academy applications and admission
Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. Applicants must provide accurate details and meet the requirements for the selected programme and cohort. Programme fees become payable in accordance with the admission offer and the applicable payment instructions.
Application fees, programme fees, timetables, attendance requirements and assessment conditions should be confirmed before enrolment. Contact the Academy if any information is unclear.
5. Fees, payment and cancellations
Use only the payment channels and references provided through the official process. Keep your transaction confirmation. A payment is subject to verification and allocation to the correct application, student or project record.
Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling and transfers depend on the terms communicated for the relevant quotation or programme and any rights provided by applicable law. Request the relevant conditions before payment. These website terms do not impose a blanket non-refundable policy.
6. Student accounts
Student portal access is for authorised users. Keep your password confidential, use your own account and report suspected compromise. Do not impersonate another student, bypass access controls or upload harmful or unlawful material.
Account access may depend on active enrolment, administrative review and compliance with programme requirements. Contact the Academy to resolve an access issue or incorrect record.
7. Learning materials and certificates
Training materials are provided for authorised learning use. Do not redistribute protected materials or misrepresent their ownership without permission. Issuing a certificate depends on the Academy requirements applicable to the programme.
Do not alter a certificate or claim another person’s credential. The verification service displays the current record held by the Academy; contact us to resolve discrepancies.
8. Responsible website use
Do not interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit abusive or misleading enquiries, scrape private student information or use the site unlawfully. Technical interruptions may occur, and access to individual features may change.
9. Privacy and third-party services
Personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. External payment providers and linked websites have their own terms. Review those terms when using their services.
10. Responsibilities and disputes
Each party remains responsible for obligations under an applicable written agreement and law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Raise concerns with Solar System first so the relevant records and agreement can be reviewed. Any unresolved dispute should be addressed under the applicable agreement and laws of Nigeria, without limiting statutory rights.
11. Contact and updates

Changes to these website terms will appear on this page. Changes to an already accepted project or programme agreement are governed by that agreement and applicable law.
